Not sure if you need A4, A2, A1 or A0? This quick guide shows real-world sizes, where each works best, and simple layout tips so you can order with confidence.

Tip: Portrait = tall; Landscape = wide. A-series keeps the same proportions, so designs scale nicely between sizes.
Which size goes where?
- Hallways / small spaces: A4–A3 singly, or mix 3–6 small prints as a gallery.
- Bedrooms & home offices: A3–A2 above desks and dressers.
- Living rooms / over sofa: A2–A1 (A1 if your sofa is 2m+).
- Big feature walls / high ceilings: A1–A0.
Framing & mounts (mats)
- A clean modern look: add a 5–7 cm mount (mat) around A-series prints.
- If you want art with a mount you need to size down - Buy A2 art to fit an A1 frame with mount or Buy An A3 print to fit an A2 frame with mount. That way you leave plenty of space for the mount.
- If you want the art to fill the frame then buy the same size art and frame A2>A2
- If you’re mixing sizes in a gallery wall, keep frame colour consistent (black/white/oak) for cohesion.
